TOTALLY SOCIALLY
Our Totally Socially project, funded by the National Lottery’s Reaching Communities Fund, ran from 2017 to 2020 and was an absolute game-changer in terms of how we work with and within the communities we serve.
At its heart was the belief that people in communities are the experts in identifying the challenges they face and in designing and implementing responses to those challenges.
Totally Socially provided the support and inspiration for them to do that, by encouraging a can-do approach, an openness to learning and a spirit of collaboration. We learnt so much from this project but perhaps the key thing was that if you support people to take action to improve their lives in the places they live it has a massive impact on their health and well-being and on the health and well-being of the community.
